Bespoke Jewellery Designs
What is the bespoke design process?
The bespoke design process is intended to feel easy and enjoyable.
After submitting your bespoke enquiry a virtual consultation will be arranged to discuss your ideas, timelines and answer design specific questions.
Initial illustrations will be drawn to show designs concepts inspired by your stylistic influences. Quotes, production timelines and possible gemstone options will be discussed to refine your concept for a final design and gemstone selection.
Your curated selection of gemstones will be arranged for a viewing giving you the opportunity to choose your gemstones. A 50% deposit is required to secure your choice of gem.
Once your gemstone is chosen your final design illustration will be made to show the proportions and scale of your chosen gemstone in your chosen design.
Production then begins according to your discussed completion date, when your piece is finished final payment is due before collection or shipping can be arranged.
What is the pricing for bespoke jewellery?
The cost of bespoke designs are determined by the design choices made and materials used.
All designs are created to suit your price range and stylistic preferences.
What gemstones do you work with and where do they come from?
A wide selection of unique, classic and rare gemstones are available, including Australian sapphires, spinels, zircons, opals & Argyle diamonds, and speciality international gemstones including emeralds, rubies, tourmalines and garnets.
Each gemstone is carefully selected by hand direct from local miners, cutters and accredited gemmologists and gemstone dealers.
Collections are tailored to suit your stylistic preferences and design choice.
What metals are your jewellery available in?
Metal options include sterling silver and yellow or white gold in 9k, 14k, 18k.
All metals are sourced locally from select suppliers who work with Australian silver and gold, focus on sustainable practises and are certified by the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) and NATA (National Association of Testing Authority, Australia) for refining old gold.
How long does a bespoke design take?
Every design takes an individual amount of time to create depending on different design features.
Design and production timelines for most pieces range between 5-14 weeks. Timelines for design options will be discussed during your initial consultation.
With the artisanal nature of creating bespoke jewellery, please understand there are limited positions available each year.
Do you offer engraving?
Yes! Engraving is an additional service that is quoted individually based on the engraving required. For a quote please get in contact with me before placing your order.
How can I arrange an appointment?

GENERAL
I have sensitive skin, is your jewellery hypoallergenic?
All precious metals used at Aradia Designs (925 sterling silver, 9k/14k/18k yellow & white gold) are nickel free alloys, making them safe and suitable for those with sensitive skin.
What sizes are your rings available in?
Rings are made to order and available in all sizes, using the Aus/UK alphabetical sizing
system.

I am unsure of my ring size, what do I do?
Ring sizes are determined by the measurement of the inside diameter, if you
have a ring that fits you can measure the size with callipers, a sizing gauge
or a ruler (less accurate).
There are alternative methods to approximate a ring size, if you need more

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are packed and shipped within 2-business days of order completion.
For made-to-order and pre-order please see the expected completion timeline
listed in the item description.
For bespoke orders, your production timeline will be discussed with you during
conceptualisation and noted on your invoice once your order is
confirmed.
I need my piece earlier than the listed timeframe, what can I do?
Hand-making jewellery from raw materials takes time and patience, however I understand that sometimes you really do need something urgently. If this is the case please get in contact with me before placing your order to discuss the possibilities.
Can I include a personalised message with my order?
Yes you can! A hand typed personalised message is a complimentary service,
all you need to do is write your message in the notes at checkout.
If you missed this, you can get in touch with me at any time before order
completion as I write each message once the piece is finished.
Where do you ship?
Deliveries are available Australia wide.
What carrier do you ship with?
Australia Post Express.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is complimentary on orders over $100AUD, orders below this amount have a flat rate fee of $20AUD.
Is shipping insured?
All orders are insured for door-to-door shipping and require a signature for
delivery. If something happens in transit please contact madeline@aradiadesigns.com.au as soon as possible with your order number.
EXCHANGES, RETURNS, REFUNDS, WARRANTY
The ring I ordered doesn't fit, can the size be changed?
Not to worry, one free resize is included in all ring orders! If your ring size is
not quite right, please get in contact with me to arrange a resize.
What is your exchange policy?
Aradia Designs hope you love your beautiful, handmade jewellery! However if you are
unhappy with the fit or feel of your new piece, you are welcome to return your
piece for a size exchange or credit note. For the full details please see the Terms of Service.
What is your returns policy?
Each Aradia Designs piece is handcrafted to order with high value, precious
materials, please understand that we do not offer returns or refunds for change
of mind. Please think carefully before making your purchase as refunds are only
